Write Urdu privacy policy and terms

Last updated: 15 July 2026. Write Urdu is a free browser-based collection of Urdu writing tools. This page explains what stays on your device, which services may receive information, and the terms for using the site.

Privacy summary

Drafts, Card Studio designs and static QR codes are processed in your browser. Roman Urdu transliteration suggestions use the Google transliteration service when it is available, so the words you submit for suggestions may be sent to Google. Do not enter confidential information into a third-party service unless you accept its policy.

How to clear local data

Use the editor's draft-history controls, the Card Studio reset controls or the QR Generator reset controls. You can also clear site data for write-urdu.com in your browser settings. Downloaded files are outside the site's control and must be deleted from your device separately.

Privacy, accuracy and support

Write Urdu does not promise that transliteration suggestions are a translation or always correct. Review Urdu output before publishing important content. If you find a mistake, use the feedback page; please remove sensitive text from reports.
